The Original Thrusting Device, Made in Australia

Registered in Victoria in March 2012. Four years of development. One device, and the interchangeable sleeve system that makes it what it is.

Miamaxx is an Australian pleasure-device company, trading as Dare Too Pty Ltd, registered in Victoria on 19 March 2012. We make one device and the sleeve system that goes with it.

The Miamaxx was the first handheld thrusting device to offer a full 75 mm stroke with sleeves the user can swap. It has been imitated since. It has not been bettered on that particular point.

Why we built it

Static dildos and vibrators have always required the user to supply the motion. Machines that supplied it themselves existed, but they were large, expensive and impossible to be discreet about.

The brief was straightforward and the execution was not: a device capable of the motion those larger machines produce, light enough to hold in one hand, and quiet enough to be nobody else’s business.

Development was estimated at two years. It took four.

The sleeve system

The part we are most pleased with is not the motor. It is the fact that the sleeve comes off.

One device, four sleeves, four genuinely different sensations — instead of four separate toys, four separate charges and four separate things to store. The attachment was re-engineered part-way through development specifically so that a sleeve could never release during use, which is why removing one takes a deliberate twist and pull rather than a gentle tug.

How it is made

Manufacturing is handled by a partner with more than two decades in the pleasure-device industry. Every sleeve is moulded from body-safe silicone that is non-porous and phthalate-free.

We publish the specifications we can verify and leave gaps where we cannot. If a figure is not on our specification table, it is because we have not yet had it confirmed in writing — not because it is unflattering.
