How the Miamaxx Works

The 75 mm stroke, the interchangeable sleeve system, the wireless remote, and the safety decisions built into how it operates.

The Miamaxx is a rechargeable thrusting vibrator with a 75 mm powered stroke, seven vibration modes, a three-button wireless remote and four interchangeable silicone sleeves. It has been designed and developed in Australia since 2012.

The 75 mm stroke

Most devices vibrate. This one moves. A linear motor drives a genuine 75 mm travel — the same mechanism larger machines use, in something you hold in one hand.

Three speed settings run from slow to fast. The stroke length itself is fixed; what you change is how quickly it travels.

It always starts on the slowest setting. That is deliberate rather than a limitation. The risk with any powered thrusting device is over-insertion at speed, so the Miamaxx makes you set your own depth and pace before increasing either.

The interchangeable sleeve system

Every Miamaxx sleeve fits every Miamaxx device. Changing the sleeve changes the sensation completely, so one motor covers four different experiences instead of requiring four separate toys. Nothing else on the market does this.

Your device arrives with IRAH fitted. A sleeve releases with a firm, deliberate twist and pull — it cannot come loose in use.

The wireless remote

The Miamaxx ships with a three-button wireless remote that pairs to the device. The buttons are moulded into the casing with a raised profile, so they can be found and pressed with your eyes closed or with wet hands — which is rather the point of a remote on a device like this.

A single LED reports three things: charge status, the on/off and pairing sequence, and activity during use. The remote measures 15 × 38 × 73 mm, runs on its own rechargeable lithium battery, and is charged separately from the device. Pair it once and it stays paired.

Because it works at a distance, the Miamaxx can be operated by a partner across the room, or left in the toy stand for fully hands-free use.

Materials and water resistance

Every sleeve is moulded from body-safe silicone that is non-porous and phthalate-free. Non-porous means the surface cannot harbour bacteria the way porous materials such as jelly rubber or TPE can.

The device is splash-resistant, not fully waterproof. The charge port is the limiting factor. With the rubber tab pressed firmly into the port it can be rinsed under running water for cleaning, but it must never be used or charged while submerged — that can permanently damage it and voids the warranty.
